Artist's Comments

Created with Apophysis 2.06. (Yeah yeah, I finally upgraded.)

So, after not being able to come up with anything relatively wonderful to me, I came across this. I like making minimalistic fractals sometimes and this style is the perfect one for such minimalism. I wanted it bright enough so that it had a glow to it, but not so much as to overpower. Also, I wanted a deep-sea setting, and I think I achieved it.

A bigger version will probably come later (this render took eight hours, I think).

Comments and critiquing greatly appreciated. :)

Love the smokiness and pastel colours. Lots of great movement movement in this too. Excellent.

I used the Zoom setting on Apophysis, which makes the render longer, but the quality is better (I've sworn off of Master Scale; it's too grainy).

Also, the blur you speak about is part of the style used (naturally). :)

Underwater theme.....no not really....then again I've taken like a bunch of Biology and Human Anatomy classes and when I saw that yeah lifeforms are correct. To me it looks like a bunch of sperm cells. Sorry but it does. The effect is still nice and the acheivement is great just to me I have a broader sense of imagination I suppose:shrug: But it's still great work Dennis.
