Created with Apophysis 2.06 3D hack.

This is one of those fractals when the concept just clicked in my mind automatically. I was thinking of centering the main focus of this flame, but I decided against it, and rather pushed it off to the right to allow more of the "cool parts" to enhance my concept. Tell me what you think! :D

Nice design. Honestly when it comes to intentional 3D tweaks I don't have a clue, every now and then I'll get something 3D but more often than not, that won't happen. =D

I like the colors as well, they are really diverse and have a good balance of colors (I think it's a stock one from Apo as well). But there's one thing about this flame that bothers me and that's the basic Julian with blur style. It does look good, but wow, I must be Julian-ed out or something. At the least, try putting some bubble or spherical instead of blur, or even try radial blur, it might give it a little bit of originality. ;)

I like this one a lot. I see a canon that has just shot out a canon ball and magic smoke is all that's left coming out the barrel. Like, a fairy cannon or something. ;) I love the jewel tones and the lighting here. I like the swirled blur, it looks better than blur alone. Good working of the 3D, too. All in all, pretty great! :D
